What Plato Would Have Done

Plato would have dug the Web.  Plato would have addressed the extremes of wealth and poverty.  Plato would have thought.  Plato would have behaved differently if he were the manager of Clydebank FC.  Plato would have viewed the Confederate States of America as a constant civil war in and of itself.  Plato would have spent equal amounts of time and effort on the two aspects of our being: mind and body.  Plato would have said that a chair was a chair because it had the necessary characteristics of being a chair.  Plato would have argued that the Forms/Ideas of Frogness or Chairness or the Good were more real than physical objects.  Plato would have questioned Jim's reliance on his senses.  Plato would also have been concerned with the emergent nations.  Plato would have told Hume to stop making such a childish protagorean racket and go back to sleep.  Plato would have had to take each CD out of its packaging.  Plato would have eventually required a better way of visually mediating the exchange between computer and student.  Plato would have only recognized the first two.  Plato would have included his own texts.  Plato would never have allowed us to be certain.  Plato would have suggested disagreeing with such propositions.  Plato wouldn't have totally agreed with the democratic structure of our government.  Plato would have said the same now as he did then. Plato would have been interested in the relationship of the garden to the world.  Plato would have been more concerned with the design.  Plato would have stoutly disagreed.  Plato would have liked to define nature as a basis of the political philosophy.  Plato would have used the Socratic method to lead the Aristotelian to an awareness that "infinity" cannot be adequately described in matter.  Plato would have agreed with this to the extent that beauty, as used by Polykleidos, implies balance.  Plato would have stopped in and checked on her from time to time.  Plato would have asserted that the Chalk form was white.  Plato would have read, re-read, and talked about nothing but his dialogues for forty years.  Plato would have employed censorship.  Plato would have been proud.  Plato would not have been satisfied by the argument that since we would be uncomfortable, we should entirely abandon the project of truth seeking.  Plato wouldn't have rejected either SP or NSE.  Plato would have been referring to a kind of pre-existence.  Plato would not have wanted his forms to rely on other things.
