David:

Verbal slips and unfortunate statements like this are easy to gather on almost any politician.  Any one of us, if our statements were being recorded as often as a president's statements are recorded, would probably be surprised at the number of idiotic remarks and grammatical errors we make in the course of any given year.  And people have been carefully noting Bush's words for four years now.

Jokes like this are unfair to a man who is doing his best in a stressful job at a very difficult time for our country.  It's obvious this poem was put forth to prove that Bush is an idiot.  But I beg to differ on this.  I don't think this poem in any way proves that our current president, George W. Bush, is an idiot.  What proves Bush is an idiot are his policies.

Best,

Eric
